It has been five months since we arrived in California, and I am finally
jumping back into blogging starting with Amanda Smith’s family session shortly
after arriving. The Smiths were one of my first sessions back after settling in
and it really did the trick.
Amanda, another local photographer, messaged me about getting her family
scheduled right before the new year. But life happens and we pushed the session
back a few times before we finally made it to their session date.
Let me tell you, I am so happy we rescheduled instead of calling it because
their session was *chef’s kiss*! On January 14th, we traveled out to the Big
Morongo Canyon Preserve, located 45 minutes from us and had the prettiest
sunset family session.
Amanda planned her families’ outfits to the tee and we they got out of their
vehicle looked stunning. Plus, their three girls were beyond adorable.
The only thing was it was so cold and windy. We managed to keep the girls
bundled in their coats between shots and their playful energy kept them moving
as they ran, played follow the leader, and ring around the Rosie.
